Proposal #5 Details

This proposal encourages validators to raise their minimum gas price to 0.25 uwhale on Migaloo.

In its early stages, the Migaloo chain set a default minimum gas price of 0 uwhale to support growth and enhance the user experience. Now that the whale token is tradable across multiple Cosmos chains and the TFM bridge enables seamless IBC transfers, it is time to raise the minimum gas price. Increasing the minimum gas price offers two key benefits: First, it helps prevent spam transactions. Second, it prepares the network for the upcoming transaction fee burn, designed to counteract whale token inflation.

Vote YES to approve the minimum-gas-price increase. Vote NO to disapprove the minimum-gas-price increase. Vote NO WITH VETO to disapprove the minimum-gas-price increase and forfeit the proposal deposits. Vote ABSTAIN to abstain from the decision.
